- After Roger's death, the world plunges into the Great Pirate Era, and Marines begin recruiting giants to strengthen their forces.
-At the God Knights' domain, Harald meets Garling, who gives him a creature used for instant contact.
15 years earlier: During Fisher Tiger's escape, a masked God Knight cuts his restraints and lets him get away.
-Back in Mary Geoise, Harald is introduced to Shanks and Shamrock. Shanks has just agreed to a Shallow Sea pact and joins the God Knights immediately(Because his talents match the one of Shamrock who is also a rising star in Holy Land).
- Harald tries to recognize Shanks, but Shanks snaps at him as a "nobody." Yet it is hinted that Shanks was the one who freed Tiger.
- On Elbaf, Ida becomes critically ill, and a healer from another land is needed. Harjudin sets sail to find one. Loki learns this and goes into rage, attacking Ida village because he thinks someone poisoned her.
